**8/1 Recent Edit: Added Gearing Heroes and Blacksmith sections. Also, added planned ideas and testing information.
Intro
This guide is for me to get all my knowledge and tips of Dungeon Rush in one place to share with you. Some of it might seem like basics to experienced players, that is why I'm adding an index. So, you can skip to what you would like. Later, I will separate it into basic and advanced guides. Enjoy and discuss in comments :)

1) HERO ROLES
There are four hero roles; Defense, Damage, Control, and Support.
Defense heroes take damage from the enemy team single attack. They have high base health and armor but low base attack. They have a self defensive buff skill to help them survive these hits.
Damage heroes have high base damage and low base health and armor. They have a damage increasing skill and a miss increasing skill or some other form of survivability skill like a self heal.
Control heroes stop the enemy team from attacking or using skills for an amount of time. They have some form of skill effect like a freeze, silence, daze or stun. These heroes have in the middle base stats.
Support heroes help out their allies by providing heals or buffs to damage and armor . They have in the middle base stats as well.
2) COMBAT SYSTEM
For advanced team building and strategies, it is good to know the mechanics of the combat system.
There are two combat lines in Dungeon Rush. The two middle hero slots are called the front line. The left and right two hero slots are called the backline.
Currently, the combat system attacks until the hero is killed in the left front line to right front line hero. When the front line dies, the left back line gets attacked next. From there it goes left to right till all heroes have been killed. If the front line has rebirth, they will attacked again after the backline has been wiped out.
(Add faction bonus damage list here)
3) TEAM FORMATS
**Note: I will be creating new team formats when I acquire more heroes to create teams. This format is the one I am currently using for the campaign and arena that I have found to be strong. There are more ideas to try and test; I will updated this section later.
(All-Defense and Duplicate Heros team formats will be tested later)
To make a strong team you must utilize each role and use them effectively in the combat system. The basic team format is two defensive heroes in the front line, three damage heroes and one support hero in the backline.
**Tip: Use the Guide in game to compare max level hero's base stats.
The front line defense heroes need high health, armor, resist, and damage reduction. The left front line should have the higher stats compared to the right front line hero. Heroes equipment should help support this role, by having these high stats.
Backline damage heroes have high attack, hit, miss, crit chance and crit damage. Place these heroes to the right backline based on attack, where the most right has the highest attack. Making it the most protected hero in the combat system, and has the chance to output the most damage.
**Tip: Having two/three multi-target damage heros and one single target hero is strong.
Supports should be placed in the left backline. These heroes should be balance in armor, health, and attack. The roles that fit here are support and control.
**Tip: If using a healer, try to get one multi healing support. Having two healers seems to put a big dent in the possible damage output of a team. For a high damage based team, pickup damage heroes with team passive and buffs in their skillset, instead of a healer.
4) GEARING HEROES
Focus the left slots on the front line defense heroes. These slots give the health and armor they need to survive. Focus the right slots on the backline damage heroes. These slots give the the attack stats for these heroes.
**Tip: When in the gear selecting bag, the most powerful gear is sorted from left to right. Be careful because enchanting higher level gear will eventually surpass lower level five star gear.
(Tips on selective stat gearing will be added later)
Possible Gear Stats
Head- miss, reduce damage, resist, life
Base Stat: HP
Chest- miss, reduce damage, resist, armor
Base Stat: Armor
Feet- miss, reduce damage, resist, speed
Base Stat: Armor
Neck- hit, critical hit, speed, armor, life, increase damage
Base Stat: Attack
Weapon- hit, critical hit, armorbreaker, true damage , damage increase
Base Stat: Attack
Ring- hit, critical hit, critical damage, speed, increase damage
Base Stat: Attack
5)BLACKSMITH
ENCHANTING
Improves the stats on a piece of gear. Which will increase the power of an equipped hero.
To enchant gear, an amount of gold and purple magic crystals are needed. The magic crystals are collected from quests, arena, tower of oblivion, and bought from the market place. There is star levels to enchanting, with five stars being max enchantment. Each level requires more gold and crystals.
**Tip: Enchanting only forged recipe or red gear will save you a lot of resources, as this gear will tend to last the longest throughout the campaign.
FORGE
Forging gear from recipes is a way to get green and red gear early in the campaign. Forge recipes require Ore from broken down gear and an amount of gold.
BREAK DOWN
Breaking down gear will give Ore needed to forge recipes. Broken down enchanted gear will return a small amount of purple magic crystals.
